First of all, happy Valentine’s Day. I hope you get to spend the day with the one you love.
Today, I’ve got something small, but quite special for you. I’ve got 36 squaremeters of cool interior details for you.
Sometimes I wish I could do it all over again. By ‘it’ I mean live in a small apartment, living the life of a student and getting by with less. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t trade my family life for anything <3. But do you ever wonder, what might have happened, if you’d made a different decision along the way? How your life would have turned out. I always find lots of inspiration, when I look at these small one or two-bedroom apartments.
The one-room apartments are my favourite, because I love seeing how creative people are, when they have to work out how to create a functional home as well as an aesthetic home.
This 36 squaremeters apartment is a very good example. And the most important thing… it works brilliantly. I love how the sofa has been used to mark the relaxing zone. The darker wall, which marks the bedroom area is a perfect contrast to the otherwise white apartment.
This is the perfect inspiration for me right now. After two days filled with playdates, a sick daughter at home, the fact that my grandfather would have turned 90 years old today (I still miss him so so much every single day), a head filled with way too much information and things to think about… the list is long, but I’ll stop here. Well, I need and want to focus on something else.
