– William and Isabel Ndiaye on the set in Copenhagen –
August has been craaaazy to say the least. But it was so much fun as well. One of the highlights – without a doubt -my son participating in a new program on Ramasjang (Hemmelige Dyr). The crew had to film him both here in Aalborg and in Copenhagen. He had such a great time, and loved every minute of it. 5 minutes after they stopped filming in Copenhagen he said “Can I participate in something else – this is so much fun”. We’ll have to see about that. For now, we’ll just enjoy this great first experience and see what happens next. His episode will air in late October – if they stick to the plan.
September – I welcome you
September was kicked off with a blast of a concert – at least if you ask my 11-year old girl. Marcus and Martinus visited Boxen – and of course, so did we. Seeing my girl and her friend having the time of their lives – screaming, dancing, crying, recording half the concert on their iPhone and just taking it all in was worth the trip. And I couldn’t help but go back memory lane, thinking about my very first pop concert (New Kids on the Block in Gothenburg, Sweden).
So, now you know some of the reason why I haven’t been posting quite as often as I would have liked to this past month. Hopefully, we can sit back and relax a bit more in September, and then I’ll have time to do some serious blogging.
Have a lovely day <3
What about your boy – is he too cool for school when it comes to clothes? Last Sunday I shoved you what I would buy for my soon to be teenage girl right now. I love this season, because if you ask me there’s nothing better than to curl up in some comfy clothes and just enjoy the beautiful weather. I absolutely love fall – to me it’s the most beautiful time of the year.
My son is the quite opposite of my daughter – he’s been very aware and direct when it comes to clothes ever since he was little. He loves cool clothes – and this summer he wanted to look like dad when he had the chance. So I figured, why not buy a blue shirt for him as well. He’ll love it, and I’ll enjoy watching my hubby and his mini-me walking around.
I’ll add a few more posts about what I’ll end up buying this season – but this one will focus on items from Zara. I like the quality (it’s not half bad), it’s rather cheap and they’ve got some pretty cool items each season. I’ll add items from more expensive Danish brands as well, and I love going on a clothes hunt in order to find cool clothes for the little guy.

Today, I want to share some cool back to school clothes with you. This post will only focus on clothes for girls – in this case my tween girl. I’ll then return with a boy edition in a few days. So, this back to school thing… well we’ve been hit by the “back to school craziness” big time this year. We’ve had way too much to take care of in the past two weeks, with our boy participating in a new television show for kids (which by the way was a fantastic experience – but more about that later, when they are done filming the show) and meetings. Our girl is now on 5th grade ans she’s loving every minute of it – she’s learning the German language now. She’s turning into a real teen before our very eyes, and clothes is very much a part of her transformation. Could someone please turn back time?
She’s much more into having “the right clothes” than she’s ever been. She knows what she wants, and it’s so funny listening to her talk about wanting “blogger glasses” and so on. I’ve made a collage of some of the clothes from Zara, which is currently on her wishlist.

Black leather boots

Shopping, shopping and more shopping. Later this year we’re going to Copenhagen with the kids. The first thing my daughter said was YES! then we can go to Urban Outfitters. She loves the store and she could easily buy the first 100 items there.
To kill time we hit the online shop for inspiration – and then she could make a wishlist of the things she would like to buy. Truth be told, I kind of like some of the things as well, so I don’t mind going in there with her, and a few of the things could end up on my wishlist as well. It’s the perfect mother-daughter store if you ask me. It’s not the clothes we’re after, but it’s the Home & Gifts section.

Today it’s time for the gifts for kids edition. I’ve already covered gifts for him and her – and now it’s time for the kids. Etsy is full of super cute toys and stuff for the kids. I always love buying something special for the kids – something you cannot buy in the store around the corner. That is one of the main reasons why I love finding stuff on Etsy. I’ve picked out things for the kids, some for the tiny ones and some for the older ones. For more inspiration go to Etsy Editor’s Pick Page, where you’ll find more interesting gift ideas.

I had way too many plans this last week, so I got a bit behind on the posts here on the blog. Therefore, I’ve decided to combine two posts that I had planned. I wanted to do a post full of gift ideas for my 7 year old little guy, and then one for my tween. Due to lack of time, I’ll show you what I ended up buying for them instead. I had a hard time picking out the gifts for my little guy, but I found the last one yesterday. Now they are all wrapped up and ready for next Sunday. How about you, are you ready for Christmas?
