Around Christmas, I love to shop around online. Finding cool bits and pieces that you’ll not find at your average store. On top of that, I love to support upcoming shops and shop directly if possible. This year I still need to find a few more presents for our family members, so I’m still on the lookout for that perfect gift. I turned to Etsy to see if I could find something cool and different for the home. Here are some of the things I spotted.
#1 George & Willy wall mounted paper roller
#2 Handcrafted boy or girl desk lamp – these are pretty cool right?
#3 Sliding Barn door closet hardware
#4 Wooden vases for your home
#5 Indoor wood planter – this one I really like
#6 Little wooden design spot “Dodrogo”
#7 Pretty cool letter display
#8 “Danquen” handmade wooden design floor lamp
#9 Black and brown faux leather throw pillow
#10 Cool 3D moon lamp – my kids got one each, and I would love one myself
Shopping, shopping and more shopping. Later this year we’re going to Copenhagen with the kids. The first thing my daughter said was YES! then we can go to Urban Outfitters. She loves the store and she could easily buy the first 100 items there.
To kill time we hit the online shop for inspiration – and then she could make a wishlist of the things she would like to buy. Truth be told, I kind of like some of the things as well, so I don’t mind going in there with her, and a few of the things could end up on my wishlist as well. It’s the perfect mother-daughter store if you ask me. It’s not the clothes we’re after, but it’s the Home & Gifts section.

I’ve been meaning to try out this little DIY project for a few weeks now. I love this cute DIY paper sculpture. It would be pretty cool to do with my girl, so I hope to convince her to try it out this weekend. It would look great in her room. Find out how to make it right here.

I’ve recently discovered the design studio Blacklist. The design studio is based in Sydney, Australia. It was founded in 2008 by husband and wife Nathan and Jaynie Johnson. Blacklist produces a range of art prints, stationery and paper goods, which I’ll show you below. I’ve picked out a few things from the collection, which I would love to have in my own home.
1. 2016 Diary – grey
2. Love print
3. Pocket Notebooks – blush
4. Travel Journal
5. Nice view print
6. Now or never notebook
For more information check out the Blacklist blog or the two Instagram accounts @blackliststudio and @blackliststore.
It’s Monday morning… and all you need is a good strong cup of coffee to get you started. Today, I want to share a tip with you. A week ago, Maria Harmuth shared a beautiful print on her blog. I really love this print, and might even add it in my kitchen as well. I’ve got one a lot like it, but this one is so nice and simple, and I love the white background. Check out Maria’s blog, where you can download the print and other amazing ones as well.
Have a fantastic Monday out there <3
… and if you’re into cool design, you’ll love these solutions as well. I’m really inspired by these solutions – and it’s just the kind of inspiration I need right now. I want to make a few changes in my home this winter – and I might go for the little house solution shown here either as a bed or a small desk space.
