A home in Sweden

When I first saw this beautiful Swedish home, I was drawn by the perfect home office. It’s so inspiring and I’m dreaming about creating a similar inspiration board above my desk. I have to get back to work. Had to leave work a bit early today, because I had to take the kids to the dentist. So I still need to write an article or two, before I can relax.

Have a lovely evening. xoxo

Prints on the wall

I’ve been looking for new prints again. January sort of put everything on hold, and I didn’t finish my new project – finding prints for our white wall. So now that I’m on top of the world again, I figured it was about time to start looking again. I’ve picked out a few prints today.

Things I’ve bought lately

New beauties

I’ve been a very lucky girl this season. In the last days of December, we bought a few beautiful design icons for our home. Some of them have been on my wish list for years. I cannot wait for the last things to arrive.

Along with some of our Christmas presents, well now our dining room/my work corner/ our library is coming together. I’ve hated this part of our home ever since we moved in, because we hadn’t found a proper solution yet.

But now I enjoy walking into the room, and I can actually relax, when I’m in here reading or simply relaxing. I don’t get lost in thoughts like “Oh, we could add this piece of furniture in here, or this painting”. It’s a wonderful feeling.

Getting ready for December

November has been hard work so far. On top of my full-time job, I’m attending another Blogging Your Way class. It’s yet again an amazing experience, and I’m trying to find time to change a few things on Espresso Moments and read through the course material at night. But it is worth it.

But I’m also busy getting ready for my all time favourite month of the year. December is magical – and I love to get cozy inside and decorate our home. I’m inspired by these pictures from Rosendahl. What do you think?

Light a candle

It’s time to enjoy the company of your family inside. And what could be more cozy than to light candles all over the home? I put some of mine away for the summer, but it’s time to bring them out of their hiding place. I’ve found a few new ones – and I might buy the christmas light from Normann Copenhagen again this year.

White Avvento

I’ve found a little something for me. I’m so excited about the new white Avvento trees from Kähler. I’ve got the grey ones from last year, but I’m really tempted to add a few white ones to my collection. What do you think about the white addition?
