We’re redecorating our dining room these days. We’re trying to create a cozy spot for the whole family to enjoy. A lot of waiting and patience is needed, which I’m not good at by the way. I’m still trying to decide which coffee table to buy, but I think I’ve found a winner. But we’ve decided on a new lounge chair. My husband and I have picked out a A Lounge Chair from Hay. Here’s where the waiting kicks in again. The new chair will arrive in about 8 weeks time.
Right now I’m browsing Instagram and Pinterest for even more inspiration. I’ve also got a dining spot to redecorate, but right now my main focus is the sofa spot, and how to make that as cozy as possible. I’ve found the beautiful Twin 35 or Twin 42 coffee table in cool grey from ByLassen, which I hope my husband will like. I’m also looking to add a new lamp and some coziness to the spot. Here’s a look at my current mood board/wishlist.
The cozy spot wishlist
1. Wood II print found at Sirlig
2. Oswald sofa from Møblér
3. Stumpestagen – small found at Moods
4. About A Lounge Chair from Hay
5. Dot Cushion from Hay
6. Moon Lamp from ByNord
7. Twin 42 from ByLassen
I’m not sure where to start. This weekend I saw this home in Arsenalsgatan on Alvhem, and my eyes kept wandering to the next cool detail in this amazing home. The interior in this studio flat is so well picked out. To name a few of things that I love, I would point out the beautiful grey wall, the fantastic dark wooden floor (no more white floor for me that’s for sure), the prints on the wall and the cool workspace. But I could go on and on and on. But I’ll just leave it up to you to take it all in.
You just know it right away. This is something special. This beautiful Pink Stairs art print is on top of my list of things to buy for myself these days. It’s simply stunning! This truly was love at first sight. The print size is 70×100 and the photographer is Annaleena Leino-Karlsson. You can get your hands on the beauty right here. It’s a limited edition print, so please don’t buy all of them before I get the money to buy my own <3
I hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday out there. Next week I’ll show you some cool DIY Advent calendar ideas. I love the fact that we’re slowly approaching my favourite time of the year. I love December, well to be honest, I love the days prior to Christmas Eve, and the tour de Denmark that follows in the days after.
I don’t want to say a lot about this beautiful home, but let the pictures do the talking. I’ll just leave you to enjoy this white home in lovely Gothenburg and then I’ll check in with you later this week with a few wishes for the upcoming Mother’s Day. Have a lovely Wednesday out there. <3
I dream about a trip to Berlin these days. I’m in need of some serious inspiration (which I know I’ll find there) and some time away from home. I would love to wake up in an apartment like this one in Schöneberg in Berlin, go out for breakfast with the kids and husband and just enjoy what the city has to offer.

I’ve been saving these pictures, but never got around to publishing them here on the blog. It’s yet another busy week at work, and these days I’m way too tired to get things done, when I return in the late afternoon.
I really like the atmosphere in this family home. It’s such a nice mix of furniture and cool personal details all around the home.
