Who wouldn’t want a pink door?

Today I’ve been shopping with my girl, while the boys cooked a few things for tonight. We’ve got friends coming over, and the kids are head over heels – talking about it non-stop and looking out the window every five minutes. It’s not because we don’t see them that often, the kids just love spending time with them, which of course I love.

So right now, I’ve got half an hour to read blogs, and get some things done on my computer. And I had to share this beautiful family home with you. I’m totally in love with the pink door! The home belongs to one half of the Bodie & FOU team, Karine Kong.

Karine lives in Brook Green in West London, and you can take a look inside her beautiful family home right here. If you want more visit Milk magazine.

Emma Persson Lagerberg’s home in Elle

I posted pictures from this beautiful home before – but I cannot help it. Looking through interior stylist Emma Persson Lagerberg‘s home today, I must admit I’m totally in love. The beautiful mint kitchen, the cozy living room, the piles and piles of books. I could really live here. The pictures are photographed by Petra Bindel.

The lovely Deborah (@apieceofcake82)

I was reading through my favourite blogs on Sunday, and I was more than pleased with what I found. One of my absolute favourite people on Instagram  (@apieceofcake82) is now a regular contributor on one of my favourite blogs (A Merry Mishap). This surely is a match made in interior heaven. I cannot wait to see what these two ladies will come up with next. Deborah also wrote that she’ll be launching a blog – so look out for it – it is bound to be full of inspiration. Until then you can follow her on Instagram or Pinterest.

Here are a few pictures of her lovely family home in Scotland.

Inspired by ferm Living (again)

I actually think it’s my absolute favourite ferm Living collection to date. Today ferm Living released their Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection, and the catalogue is packed with beautiful new design. I cannot wait to see it all in stores soon. I found the first ten items just by browsing through the catalogue. I’m sure I’ll find even more, when I see the collection in real life. This time it’s not only for the kids, so I’ll be moving in a few new things pretty soon.

If you want to see their amazing new collection hop on over to issuu and do grab a cup of coffee. Happy shopping.

Stockholm love

I’ve been in Sweden most of the week on a seminar, so I’ve been unable to write blog posts or get my daily fix. So I’m quite happy that it’s Saturday. My boy had his first day in kindergarden while I was away, and on Monday my girl will start school. We’re going to  hang out on a playground today with a few other friends. It’s nice and relaxing, and the perfect way to relax on a Saturday afternoon. And the sun is shining! Things are not dull here at all.

I want to share with you this beautiful Stockholm home. It’s bright, filled with light and filled with my favourite String systems and other favourite design items of mine. The dining corner is just amazing with the round table and the mix of chairs. A splash of colour here and there – it’s not too much – but just right. And what a lucky kid – the room is just adorable – and I love the wallpaper. I’ve been debating whether or not to buy wallpaper for my girl’s room – or if I should just paint one wall. I really need to do something about her room soon.

This is me relaxing

Today is the last day of my vacation and I’m a bit hungover from a wedding yesterday. But I wanted to check in and show you my favourite pictures and memories of a relaxing summer – and it was much needed. So here are a few pictures from the past three weeks.

So tomorrow it’s back to work again. I’ll leave for Gothenburg early in the morning and stay there for three days and then return just in time to celebrate my boy’s birthday on Thursday. What I try not to think about too much is the fact that he’ll be starting kindergarden while I’m in Sweden. Thank God for an amazing husband.
