Interior inspiration after my Easter Break

I didn’t plan to take a break away from Espresso Moments during my Easter Break. But it sort of happened anyway.

I’ve had some wonderful days with my family. Seeing both sides of our extended families, a trip to Copenhagen with my husband (more about that in a later post), a lot of play dates for both kids, relaxing times at home –  well I managed to fit quite a bit into this break.

Before I leave today, I want to show a few pictures, which inspired me during my break.

Have a wonderful week <3

The light box

These days I can’t stop thinking about buying a light box. It’s super cute, and I’m thinking about getting one for my boy. We’ve been doing a bit of re-decorating in his sister’s room lately, and he has been asking if we could make a few changes in his room as well. We’re planning a few major changes in there, but we’re not planning on doing them right now, so a few new (and smaller) things might do the trick for now.

I’ve been browsing Pinterest and Instagram for inspiration, and the more I see the more I want to buy one. If you are interested check out this #lightbox or Pinterest.

I think the whole family will enjoy writing small sayings and greetings, and the light box can be used all around our home. You know me, I love buying things, which I can use all around our home, when I get tired of it in one room.

Lightbox Collage

I’ve found a light box from A Little Lovely Company. Looking through all the pictures, I came to the conclusion that I need more letters. I’ve found some really cute ones, and with different sets of letters the light box can be used around the house even more. I think I’ll go with the basic set, the set with numbers and symbols and the celebrations symbols.

A black and white family home

I’ve got one more thing I want to share with you today, besides from my Easter egg craving, which I wrote about in my previous post today. Last weekend, I came across this beautiful family home in Sweden. I really love some of the ideas, like the grey stools. I’ve got some from Ikea that would look great in different shades of grey. The kid’s room os also pretty cool, if you ask me. They’ve found some cool toys for that kid. Interior inspiration on a Friday

It’s Friday and what a wonderful Friday it is. We don’t have a lot of plans this weekend, which is really nice. We should do this more often, actually.

I want to share a beautiful Swedish home with you today. I always enjoy looking at these monochrome homes. I could never live like that (we’ve got too much stuff), but I find these homes really inspiring. Seeing this home, I want to paint my walls like the gorgeous office space – it’s really something special.

Stop by on Sunday
Before I leave you I want to tell you about a blogpost I’ve got planned for Sunday. I’ve got a few DIY projects for Easter planned for you, so I hope you’ll stop by. I’m pretty sure you and your kids (if you’ve got any)will love them, and your Easter table will look great. I’m planning on making a few of the decorations with my kids this weekend as well. As soon as we’re finished, I’ll share a picture or two on Instagram.

Have a fantastic weekend <3

Black and White interior

I’ll make a quick stop here today to show you some beautiful black and white stylings from an amazing Swedish home. I hope you like them. I’m crazy in love with the kitchen, and would love to do a concrete kitchen countertop myself. We’re planning to paint our old kitchen, so who knows, maybe we’ll end up with a countertop like this one.

Want Wear Need Read in February

Can you believe it – where did this month go? I’ve been participating in a lot of interesting things this past month, met a lot of inspiring people, and I’m one step closer to finding the right path.

Last month I started this Want Wear Need Read series on the blog (to check out my list from January click here), and I’ve been looking forward to sharing this month’s edition with you here on Espresso Moments.

Want wear need read in february

Want – This month I really want these beautiful pink tablewear from the Mezzo collection by Casalinga. I would love to eat my breakfast from one of the items, and from a styling point of view, it would make taking pictures so much more fun.

Wear – I would love to wear this black Mila bag from Coccinelle on my arm. I was looking for a smaller bag, but I fell in love with this one. If only my husband had bought this one for me on our wedding anniversary earlier this month, then I would have kept it.

Need – I really need a suitcase for our trip to Mallorca later this year. It’s a very practical thing, and I always travel with my leather bag. But somehow, I don’t think I can fit all of my things into that bag this time. I’ve got my heart set on a Samsonite Lite-Shock spinner 75 cm in black. It’s kind of expensive, but I just know I’ll have a suitcase for life. And I found it on sale, so right now I’m thinking: What am I waiting for?

ReadBig Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert. I mentioned earlier this week that I’ve been reading this fantastic book this month. I haven’t finished it yet, but I take it with me where ever I go (yup, I’ve got a printed edition – I’m old fashioned that way)
