After spending a wonderful long weekend in Hamburg last weekend, I’ve been really busy at work. Things are changing and my head has been elsewhere.
I want to give you a few tips about where to eat in Hamburg – but I’ll have to leave it for another post. I’m in love with the city, and my husband did some amazing research and found quite a few spots worth writing about.
It’s already the second Sunday in December, and I’m still trying to figure out what to buy for my family. Right now I should be shopping online for some of the presents, but I just don’t know what to buy for all of them.
We’ve been baking and making chocolate treats for Christmas today, and the rest of my family is relaxing right now. I think I’ll join the kids for a Christmas movie now, and do the shopping some other time. Have a lovely Sunday <3
Today it’s time for the gifts for kids edition. I’ve already covered gifts for him and her – and now it’s time for the kids. Etsy is full of super cute toys and stuff for the kids. I always love buying something special for the kids – something you cannot buy in the store around the corner. That is one of the main reasons why I love finding stuff on Etsy. I’ve picked out things for the kids, some for the tiny ones and some for the older ones. For more inspiration go to Etsy Editor’s Pick Page, where you’ll find more interesting gift ideas.

A few days ago I kicked off a Christmas gift special full of different gift ideas from Etsy. Today, I want to share a few things which I found for the women in your family. Here you’ll find gifts for your mother, sister, daughter or maybe your best friend. Some of the things, I think I’ll have to get for my daughter. My mother is another story. She’s very picky, and I need to find a special gift for her. For more inspiration go to Etsy Editor’s Pick Page, where you’ll find more interesting gift ideas. What are you going to get for the women in your family this year?

I love spending time looking for things on Etsy. There are so many cool items to be found. This year I’ve decided to do a few posts about what to buy for your family members on Etsy. First up is a selection of gifts for your man. I wanted to find items which my husband can use or look at every day. Apart for the funny x-mas socks, I think he would love the cool leather goods as well as the wooden items. We’re trying to bring less into our home these months, and only buy products of a certain quality. For more inspiration go to Etsy Editor’s Pick Page, where you’ll find more interesting gift ideas.

Lately, I’ve come across some beautiful black and white photographs, which I’m seriously considering above our sofa.
The first picture I’ve found on Coco Lapine’s shop. It’s called Black Beach. It’s a beautiful picture of a rock formation touched by the ocean on the black beach, photographed in Iceland. The second is also from her shop, and it’s called Snowy Tree, which was photographed in Munich. The third picture Decordots’ shop. It’s called Rainy Day, and it’s a photo of raindrops on a window.
I’m thinking about buying them all, and then change the photographs on the wall from time to time. The Snowy Tree would be perfect this time of year.

We only buy advent presents for the kids in our home, primarily because my husband isn’t too pleased with the idea in the first place. He thinks the kids get enough presents in December already. But I love each Sunday, because I think it’s special waking up to a small present, and then play with it afterwards. I think it’s an okay compromise, and I would rather buy four bigger presents than 24 small ones for each day.
Even though, my husband isn’t into it at all, I’ve still got a long list of things I would have bought for him – had he been into it. I hope the gifts I’ve picked out will inspire you – and hopefully your man will be happy, when he opens it on a Sunday before Christmas.
Are you ready for four Sundays of advent?
