I don’t know about you, but I’m listening to podcasts every time I get the chance these days. I find it relaxing, and I love getting to know new things or simply soak up some new inspiration. Like most others, it all started with the first season of Serial, and then there was no turning back. I knew right there that I’d come across something special. It was a format, which I could relate to, and listen to whenever I felt like it. I listen to podcasts, when I’m using public transportation, when I’m walking to or from something, when I’m cooking, when I’m not in the mood for reading and so on.
3 Podcasts that’ll get you through the autumn season:
Human Centric is the New Black – I started listening to this podcast last week, and I love the idea of creating a human centric marketing approach. The podcast Human Centric is the New Black is created by Jack Fussell. Jack is behind the company Tolke, a branding/marketing and strategy firm in Atlanta, GA. I’ve been following Jack and his wife Valentina for quite a few years now. It all began during their time in Copenhagen and continued as they re-launched as a family in the U.S. They’ve always got some interesting takes on life as an entrepreneur. Give this new podcast a go!
Vovestykket – A Danish podcast which I recently started listening to. There are only 5 episodes right now, but it’s great for inspiration. It’s about having the courage to imagine and think wild thoughts. And more importantly, how to make your wild ideas come to life. They talk about failure and how to make a comeback after that. It’s quite interesting.
Onward Creatives – This podcast I’ve been listening to for 1 1/2 years. I always return to this, because it inspires me, and Jack and Valentina are so great together – they’ve got me laughing out loud at times, and I love that. Jack and Valentina describe the podcast like this “This podcast is a “space to develop and grow your creative potential. Each week we provide inspiration and resources to you, the creative entrepreneur so that you can live out your greatest life story”. They also share some very useful insights from their own journey. So check it out!
I would love to get inspiration form you as well. Which podcasts are you listening to? And why? Hit me with your favourite one just now <3
I’m always reading blogs, looking at Instagram and Pinterest, reading magazines and looking into people’s houses – yup I do that, when I’m walking outside and it’s dark. It’s a great way to find inspiration. Therefore, my wishlist is an ongoing list, which I add stuff to weekly. I’ve got one on Pinterest (the visual version) and I’ve got one in a notebook.
This autumn I’ve added some really cool things to my wishlist – and most of them will probably make it to my Christmas wishlist as well. I love this season, and the excuse to add a few new things to your home. It really needs to be cozy, when you have to stay inside so much. What are the things you’re looking for that will add that cozy feeling to your home this season?
Where to find it:
#1 I’ve found this pretty cool ceramic citrus press, which I would love to test.
#2 One of the absolute highlights I’ve found this week are the photographs taken by Maria Fynsk Norup. I absolutely adore this one called Morning Flight and I would love for it to hang in my living room.
#3 This little fella is a self watering device, and it’s small and simple, which I love.
#4 Ever since we bought a new sofa I’ve been looking for pillows or pillow cases. This green pillow would add that autumn feeling, which I’m looking for.
#5 If we add a bit of paint (I’ve got some leftovers from when we painted my boy’s room this summer), this Mercury wall lamp would be fantastic in out home.
#6 I’m still obsessed with everything pinkish – and this Afternoon Chair plus dusty rose is no exception. It would look great around our new dining room table (if we ever decide to act on the current choice that is)
#7 Last but not least, I’ve had my eye on this cool wire shelf. This is such a Charlotte -item, because in my head, I can see it in every room in our home. When that happens, I keep thinking about the item, and that when I know I’ll be happy every time I look at it.

Funny weather. One day it’s really cold outside, and the next it’s warm and almost better than we’ve had all summer. And then there’s the rain – wild and crazy, and without any warning. But I love this season very much. I love the color pallet and the excuse to drink hot chocolate after school. It’s also the perfect chance to do a bit of shopping and figure out which items you need to replace, and which you cannot live without.
In my case, I really need a new winter coat. I’m still trying to find the right match. This year I also bought these pretty pink slippers – our dog ate the ones I’ve been using for a couple of years – and I had to have these pink ones.
Striped Mads Nørgaard sweater
Saga Tusk Necklace
Dress with dots
