The Christmas catalogue has landed. As some of you are well aware of, I’m quite a Christmas fan. I love decorating the house, love the cozy atmosphere, love baking with the kids and love finding small advent presents. For me it’s not really Christmas, if I haven’t been to Hamburg in late November/start december. There is something so cheesy, and yet so wonderful about all the Christmas markets and activity in the city. It’s the perfect way to kick off a wonderful season.
One of the other ‘before Christmas traditions’ that I’ve got is to go to Sostrene Grene quite a few times. I always buy something from their Christmas collection, and this year is no exception. Today I want to share some of my favourite items from this year’s collection and their Christmas catalogue.

Are you ready for some gift wrapping ideas?
If there is one thing I like it’s wrapping Christmas presents. I don’t mind, actually I love it, if the shop wraps the presents beautifully. If the owner has put some thought into the whole Christmas wrapping thing, well then I get really excited, and tend to buy my presents in that shop. I really hate it, when I’m standing in line to buy a present and then I get some messy wrapped present afterwards. It’s almost embarrassing to give such a present for Christmas. On the other hand, I get really excited when I get a beautifully wrapped present. To me that is when the you of Christmas shopping appears. It’s all about buying the personal gift, and making sure that it’s wrapped beautifully.
I’ve collected 11 different gift wrappong ideas for you today. I hope you’ll be inspired before wrapping the last Christmas presents this year.

I’m almost done buying all the presents for the kids. Every year I tell myself that this year I’ll have all the gifts ready and wrapped before December 1st. However, I never make it in time. I dislike shopping in the city when it’s full of people – lets face it, I hate standing in line – therefore I buy most of the gifts online. I love exploring new webshops and finding new things for the whole family. This time I’ve been looking at things for a tween girl. Some of the things ended up in this gift guide.
I hope some of the things in this guide will inspire you and your girl this Christmas.
1. Pink Elephant
2. Bergen No 3 cushion
3. Roaslie chair grey
4. Gaston wall mounted desk grey
5. Laurette round bed drak grey
6. Les Gambettes rosy shelf jade green
7. Hello Pillow case white
8. Muuto storage basket black
9. Miffy Lamp
The kids love to pick out presents for my husband and I. They get super excited every time, and they sure know which presents they bought for us – even years later. This year I’ve collected a few things that I know my husband would love. I’ll either go into the city with the kids, or enjoy a quiet afternoon at home with them while shopping for the perfect gift online.
My man loves cooking and baking bread. Therefore, most of the gifts this year are culinary related. So far these items have made the list.

Today, I’ve got some Christmas inspiration for you. I’m getting my dose of Christmas right now, but more about that in a later post – if you’re curious, check out Instagram. Today, I’m just going to leave you with some wonderful Christmas ideas. As you can see, I’m very much a black/white, minimalistic Christmas freak. I love a simple Christmas decor, containing snow and black, grey, glitter and a bit of green.

While I’m busy buying gifts for the whole family and friends, I decided to pick out a few things from my own wishlist to show you.
On my wishlist this year:
Check out my Pinterest board right here for more inspiration and to see my ongoing wishlist. I update it from time to time during the year, and then I pick out some of the gifts I’ve collected and email the links to friends and family. Somehow, they are not as impressed by the whole Pinterest thing as me 😉 Hopefully, one day they’ll see how practical it really is.
