by Lassen to focus on the hallway – AW2017 news

I’m thrilled to see the AW2017 news from by Lassen. I love the fact that they’ve focused on functional design for the hallway. Most often it’s the first room people see, when they visit you – and I know ours has been filled with shoes, raincoats and what have you for way too long.

And being the design geek that I am, I’m even more thrilled about the fact that they’ve taken us back to where it all started, namely with the burnished copper Kubus candleholder, just like the first one designed in the 1960s by Mogens Lassen. That’s fantastic news, if you ask me. Now I’ll just have to come up with a solid plan in order for my husband to wrap his head around the fact that I need yet another Kubus candleholder.

YPPERLIG HAY designs for IKEA

I’m sure you’re not surprised to find out that I’m pretty excited about IKEAs collaboration with HAY. I’ll be first in line to get my hands on some of the items, that’s for sure. I’ve collected a (tiny – I wish) shopping list already. Of course, I’ll have to see the YPPERLIG collection irl before making a final decision. However, I’m pretty enthusiastic about what I’ve seen so far. So I’ll show you what’s on my list – as long as you don’t go and buy all of the stuff before me đŸ˜‰
