It’s Saturday morning, and I’m dreaming about a new kitchen (once again) while looking at Vola HV1 one hand mixer for our bathroom. I’m loving the design, and it’s been on my to buy list for ages.
It’s six o’clock in the morning and I’m the only one up. So I thought it would be a nice time to write something here on the blog. Last weekend I found this beautiful raw kitchen in a Swedish home. I’ve been dreaming about a raw wall like this one ever since. I would love to update our kitchen, and make it more contemporary.
I keep looking at some of the solutions in this kitchen, and imagine how I can do something similar in our own kitchen.
Don’t you just love it, when you discover some pretty cool details in a family home? I do.
I’m always trying to find new ways, new ideas, new inspiration, when it comes to creating a functional and beautiful family home.
I’ve found quite a few interesting ideas in this family home in Norway. I’ve been dreaming about using Muuto dots for our stairwell for a long time. I love the idea of creating your own lamp over the dining room table, as well as the different seating options. And why not use the walls for storage? The bike on the wall is pretty cool.

I’ve got one more thing I want to share with you today, besides from my Easter egg craving, which I wrote about in my previous post today. Last weekend, I came across this beautiful family home in Sweden. I really love some of the ideas, like the grey stools. I’ve got some from Ikea that would look great in different shades of grey. The kid’s room os also pretty cool, if you ask me. They’ve found some cool toys for that kid.

Today, I’m in need of some family home inspiration.
It’s one of those horrible days. The kids didn’t sleep well, and neither did the parents. Everyone is way too tired to function normally. On top of it, they are both coughing, and it can go both ways. How are you holding up these days?
So today, I really need some inspiration, and later I really need to cuddle and do nothing at all with the kids.
I’ll leave you with a beautiful family home, which I find quite interesting. I like the simplicity of the interior, the black, white, grey scale mixed with a lot of green plants. After the night we’ve had, I’m seriously considering buying a larger bed, or placing a bed for either my husband or me in my boy’s room. I’m really inspired by the one in this family home.
I’m really fascinated by this Swedish home, which I found on Stadshem. Just take a look at the bedroom. What an amazing room!
I love the black ‘wall’ separating the two beds from each other. It’s the perfect way to create two rooms in one. I’ll be looking into a similar solution for our home that’s for sure. And what a perfect workspace as well. I would love to work from home and looking out on the trees.
The bunk bed is wonderful. I’ll show it to my daughter when she gets home, because on top of her wishlist is a bunk bed. This one is perfect for inspiration. The rest of the home is also quite breathtaking. I hope you’ll enjoy the tour and hopefully get inspired just like I did.
Have a wonderful day <3
I’m in the middle of writing my exam paper, so I don’t have a lot of free time these days. Hopefully, I’ll have a some what finished product by the end of the week, and then I can concentrate on writing some blog posts again. But before I leave today, I want to show you a beautiful family home. Just take a look at all the beautiful styled details.
