Today I’ve been shopping with my girl, while the boys cooked a few things for tonight. We’ve got friends coming over, and the kids are head over heels – talking about it non-stop and looking out the window every five minutes. It’s not because we don’t see them that often, the kids just love spending time with them, which of course I love.
So right now, I’ve got half an hour to read blogs, and get some things done on my computer. And I had to share this beautiful family home with you. I’m totally in love with the pink door! The home belongs to one half of the Bodie & FOU team, Karine Kong.
Karine lives in Brook Green in West London, and you can take a look inside her beautiful family home right here. If you want more visit Milk magazine.

This home is wonderful. I’ve seen it on different blogs this past week, and I stop every time to have another look at it. So I decided to write a post about it myself, because I would like to keep it for inspiration, and some of you might not have seen it yet. So I hope you’ll enjoy this home tour.
It is the home of Finnish blogger LauraQ and her son Kosmo. They live in Helsinki. Her blog is a wonderful universe, and full of beautiful inspiring pictures of a lovely home. I’m glad I stumbled upon this. These pictures are for Deko magazine.

Yesterday, I showed you an amazing room for a boy. But I actually want to show you some great ideas from the other rooms in the house as well. Some of the corners remind me of our new house, and these pictures help me get my head around decorating our new home.

There is no harm in dreaming. And a SEK 13,75 million dream is a super deluxe one, I know. But when I wake up, I still want to add some of the not too expensive things to my own home. This amazing apartment with 5 rooms is in Stockholm, Sweden.
Trying to find the perfect house isn’t easy. Deciding to remain put isn’t easy either. There are a lot of decisions to be made this year, and sometimes you just have to believe in signs.
Last year I read and re-read The Happyness Project by Gretchen Rubin – and even though I’ve only tried out a few of the things she mentioned in the book – I’m sure that it has made a huge difference in my life. So what’s with this book you might wonder – and what does that have to do with decorating?
I’ll tell you. The other day we made a huge decision. For the next year at least we’re going to live, love, relax and enjoy every moment in this apartment. We’re going to get the the last things done, in order for it to feel 100% like our home. We’ve been going back and forth about moving, in order for our girl to attend the right school. We’ve been looking at public and private schools in order for her to get a good start.
The other day I believe there was a sign in my Happyness Page a Day calendar.
“We act as though comfort and luxury were the chief requirements of life, when all we need to make us really happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Charles Kingsley
It’s an amazing feeling – and I’m ready for 2012 to be the year of happyness for all of us.
So after this little turnaround, I want to show you a dream house that I’m quite enthusiastic about. It’s from the Norwegian Bo Bedre, and it’s packed with great ideas and solutions for family life.
