I’m enjoying the last week of my vacation with the kids right now. We’re enjoying new places in Aalborg during the day, and at night, when the kids are sleeping, we’re enjoy cold drinks and good company.
I thought I would continue with a few more items from my wishlist. This time I’ve collected a few things in different shades of pink.
Bellino from Kähler | A pink jopo bike | Candy Dot Cushion Steelcut Trio from Hay | Medium Bellino from Kähler | Affisch Vee Speers 2 print | The Shoulder Bag from The Cambridge Satchel Company
I’ve been in Aarhus/Odder all weekend. First, some much needed time in Aarhus with my son’s mothers’ group yesterday. We left the kids at home, relaxed, walked around the city, visited Aros, ate cakes, sandwiches and drank coffee in the city. After that I went to Odder to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday. The kids and my husband were already there. Even more delicious food on the table and the kids played outside in a treehouse. We returned home this morning and I’ve been trying to get some things done before another busy week begins.
I’m dreaming of adding a few new things in our kitchen. Inspired by our little trip yesterday, my new coffee book by The Coffee Collective and some things I’ve added to my wish list, well I’ve put together this little list.
1. Kähler yellow Ursula jug 2. Hario V60 Dripper 3. Hario Buono V60 Drip Kettle 4. Normann Copenhagen Tea Egg 5. Hay Kaleido Grey Large 6. Menu Salt and Pepper 7. Kähler big grey Ursula bowl
Today my daughter and I started looking at things to add to her wishlist. We’ve been talking about things to add for a while now. But sooner or later people will start asking for a list, so I figured why not get started now. Here are some of the things she picked out so far. I’ll add a few more things as we get closer to Christmas.

I really hope you’re enjoying the weekend. The sun is finally here in Denmark, and we’re enjoying every bit of it.
Right now I’m waiting for my big girl to get home. She’s been on her very first girl scout trip in the woods and slept in a tent there. I cannot wait to hear all about it. It’s been a crazy 24 hours for me – I guess I wasn’t prepared for this to happen soo soon. But my little girl is growing up.
Have a lovely Sunday!
It’s too bad that I didn’t see this arrangement earlier. But for now, we’ll just have to collect clippings, pictures and other stuff for our makeover of our rooftop terrace next year.
This is so cozy, and imagine all the storage space. This would be perfect for what I had in mind up there.
Today is the last day of my vacation and I’m a bit hungover from a wedding yesterday. But I wanted to check in and show you my favourite pictures and memories of a relaxing summer – and it was much needed. So here are a few pictures from the past three weeks.
So tomorrow it’s back to work again. I’ll leave for Gothenburg early in the morning and stay there for three days and then return just in time to celebrate my boy’s birthday on Thursday. What I try not to think about too much is the fact that he’ll be starting kindergarden while I’m in Sweden. Thank God for an amazing husband.
