Yesterday, I came across this grey Godmorgon bathroom cabinet from IKEA, which I really like. I’ve been looking at different solutions for our bathroom for years. I dream about doing it all over again. I would love to be able to see our touch and feel our ideas in there. I know that I would enjoy it every time I walk in there. I would love once and for all to change the 90s feel to it, and make it more simple and fit for a family of four.
Having bought a home, which a father and his son renovated in the early 90s, well lets just say, I could make a long list of things that either doesn’t work in reality, or looks horrible. Little by little we change all these things, and hopefully we’ll get to the bathroom in 2018. If not all of it, then at least make a few small changes.
I’m not crazy about the table top solution, or to be honest, I would have to have a look at in real life to make up my mind. But for the past two years, I’ve been dreaming about making our own table top. First I was crazy about a concrete one, but I think I’ll end up with something a little lighter.
But now I know, what to look for the next time I’m in IKEA.

On Monday, I fell in love big time. I was scrolling along Facebook, when a beautiful bookcase from Stylizimoblog appeared on my phone. I had to know more about this Ikea hack. I found more pictures of this grey bookcase, and my crush became even bigger.
The bookcase is made out of two of the biggest VALJE shelf units. Add to that a beautiful grey color. I’m crazy about this light grey color. No wonder Nina was inspired, when she saw a similar bookcase on Anna Kubel’s blog. I think I might have to convince my husband that this is the best idea I’ve had in a while. I showed him the bookcase on Monday (I couldn’t help myself), and his first reaction was… do you need yet another bookcase. Yup, and I’ll find a way 😉

It’s getting darker outside every day right now. And most of the bright hours during the day are spent behind a desk working, right? At least that’s the case with my time right now.
But I wanted to add a few fun projects, projects that won’t take up too much time (and thereby never get finished – like the ones I told you abou here). I’ve collected a few cool DIY projects that I want to do during these dark hours.
I’ve selected three different projects. First up is the terracotta pot series Ingefära from Ikea. Truth be told, I will never be a fan of the terracotta color and that is why I love this little DIY project by Frida from Trendenser. Frida is also the woman behind the second DIY project, where she has painted three Ikea stools in different colors. They would be cool as bed side tables or simply a stool.
Lastly, I want to make a cool Ikea trash can with leather handles, like the one Valentina shoved on her new blog House of Valentina. Check out how to make this leather trash can right here.
My little one is crazy about all stuff with the moon on it. It all started when I bought this sweatshirt from molo. I’ve added a few more items to his wardrobe, and he gets excited every time. He’s also been looking at the stars through our astronomical telescope. I love this phase, where he gets caught up in one thing and just wants to know all about it.
I’ve been looking for a few things for his room as well. I’ve found this cool map of the moon poster via mr printables. And I’ve also found a fun activity for the upcoming fall break. How about a Doodle on the moon? This idea is pretty cool and I know my kids would love it. Or how about this moon poster from Fybur’s Etsy shop? Lastly, a small DIY project – the famous Mr. Moon Ikea hack lamp by mommo design. This lamp has been all over the internet, but I still think it’s super cute.
