Right now I’m sitting at our dining room table looking out on a grey Sunday white drinking a cup of coffee. The kids are out playing soccer, and I’m at home writing an application for a job among other things.
It’s been a wonderful weekend full of good people, inspiration, cleaning, movie afternoon with the kids, holiday planning for 2017, wine, g&t, coffee and a granny bun from Penny Lane. I couldn’t ask for much more.
I thought I’ll leave you with some interior inspiration – and the color for today is grey with a hint of white. Enjoy <3

I was tempted to call this the lego home, based on all the Lego objects in this home. It’s pretty cool, and it’s a nice touch to this home. I don’t know if I’ve been sleeping in class, but I don’t remember having seen small String shelves like these ones before. They are really cool and the perfect fit for a desk solution like this one. I think I might have picked a solution like, for my daughter, this had I known.

I’m loving so many things about this Swedish home. I’m ready to try out a raw wall in the kitchen, hang new prints on the walls, buy new chairs from Menu, paint the kitchen grey (and the bathroom as well), find out where to buy the cool storage solution above the workspace, buy even more plants, and I could go on and on.
First of all, I’m really missing this place. Somehow, I never manage to sit down and just get lost in interior design solutions these days. I’m way too tired, or busy spending time with my family.
But I never created Espresso Moments to just to let it die out. I still love this place, and I think about it almost every day. I’ll make time for writing posts again, and I cannot wait to share some cool solutions with you here.
Today, I want to leave you with quite a few pictures, which have inspired me during the past month. I’ve collected quite a few, and I hope you’ll like them, and be inspired by them as well.

It’s Friday and what a wonderful Friday it is. We don’t have a lot of plans this weekend, which is really nice. We should do this more often, actually.
I want to share a beautiful Swedish home with you today. I always enjoy looking at these monochrome homes. I could never live like that (we’ve got too much stuff), but I find these homes really inspiring. Seeing this home, I want to paint my walls like the gorgeous office space – it’s really something special.
Stop by on Sunday
Before I leave you I want to tell you about a blogpost I’ve got planned for Sunday. I’ve got a few DIY projects for Easter planned for you, so I hope you’ll stop by. I’m pretty sure you and your kids (if you’ve got any)will love them, and your Easter table will look great. I’m planning on making a few of the decorations with my kids this weekend as well. As soon as we’re finished, I’ll share a picture or two on Instagram.
Have a fantastic weekend <3
We’re redecorating our dining room these days. We’re trying to create a cozy spot for the whole family to enjoy. A lot of waiting and patience is needed, which I’m not good at by the way. I’m still trying to decide which coffee table to buy, but I think I’ve found a winner. But we’ve decided on a new lounge chair. My husband and I have picked out a A Lounge Chair from Hay. Here’s where the waiting kicks in again. The new chair will arrive in about 8 weeks time.
Right now I’m browsing Instagram and Pinterest for even more inspiration. I’ve also got a dining spot to redecorate, but right now my main focus is the sofa spot, and how to make that as cozy as possible. I’ve found the beautiful Twin 35 or Twin 42 coffee table in cool grey from ByLassen, which I hope my husband will like. I’m also looking to add a new lamp and some coziness to the spot. Here’s a look at my current mood board/wishlist.
The cozy spot wishlist
1. Wood II print found at Sirlig
2. Oswald sofa from Møblér
3. Stumpestagen – small found at Moods
4. About A Lounge Chair from Hay
5. Dot Cushion from Hay
6. Moon Lamp from ByNord
