Smart Space Saving Tips on BoConcept

A while back, I was asked to write something about Smart Space Saving Tips for BoConcept. It is now live on their website and you’ll find some cool tips from some talented ladies. As a family of four, living in the city, space saving ideas are always on top of my mind. Therefore, I was pleased, when they asked me to contribute. If you decide to check it out, you might as well take a look at a few cool office accessories.

Creating a cozy spot – The wishlist

We’re redecorating our dining room these days. We’re trying to create a cozy spot for the whole family to enjoy. A lot of waiting and patience is needed, which I’m not good at by the way. I’m still trying to decide which coffee table to buy, but I think I’ve found a winner. But we’ve decided on a new lounge chair. My husband and I have picked out a A Lounge Chair from Hay. Here’s where the waiting kicks in again. The new chair will arrive in about 8 weeks time.

Right now I’m browsing Instagram and Pinterest for even more inspiration. I’ve also got a dining spot to redecorate, but right now my main focus is the sofa spot, and how to make that as cozy as possible. I’ve found the beautiful Twin 35 or Twin 42 coffee table in cool grey from ByLassen, which I hope my husband will like. I’m also looking to add a new lamp and some coziness to the spot. Here’s a look at my current mood board/wishlist. Dining room wishlist

Christmas inspiration

lottaheader Today, I’ve got some Christmas inspiration for you. I’m getting my dose of Christmas right now, but more about that in a later post – if you’re curious, check out Instagram. Today, I’m just going to leave you with some wonderful Christmas ideas. As you can see, I’m very much a black/white, minimalistic Christmas freak. I love a simple Christmas decor, containing snow and black, grey, glitter and a bit of green.

On my radar right now

On my radar week 43

This On my radar post will focus on a few things that I would love to buy this week, actually I’ve been drooling over these things all week. I bought the shoes Quilt Boot by Sofie Schnoor – and they are in the mail. I cannot wait to try them on.

About a year ago, my husband and I bought two posters – now hanging on the wall in our bedroom – from Monoqi. Ever since, I’ve been keeping an eye on all of the cool items in the shop. I’ve fallen in love with two new things. The cool white 5 Judd U Shelves, which would be perfect for all our books. The second thing is the lamp Table Light Silver, which unfortunately is sold out, but it is still very cool.

Last but not least, I’ve been thinking about the Crosby Quilt Wingman Wallet by Marc By Marc Jacobs. I guess I have a thing for quilt this season. But that said, I really need a small bag for my phone and credit card. This one would be a perfect match.

When grey meets perfect

SFDE7D8B1402C304F39B8AAF8172872C9DE_2200x Last week I found the perfect home on Fantastic Frank. It doesn’t happen every day, but this time, I must say: I love every tiny bit of this place.
Now I just want to add more grey in my own home. Paint a few doors and chairs, add a bit of dusty rose, finish replacing the kitchen cabins and clean out all the stuff we don’t use after all.
