Right now I’m sitting at our dining room table looking out on a grey Sunday white drinking a cup of coffee. The kids are out playing soccer, and I’m at home writing an application for a job among other things.
It’s been a wonderful weekend full of good people, inspiration, cleaning, movie afternoon with the kids, holiday planning for 2017, wine, g&t, coffee and a granny bun from Penny Lane. I couldn’t ask for much more.
I thought I’ll leave you with some interior inspiration – and the color for today is grey with a hint of white. Enjoy <3

I was tempted to call this the lego home, based on all the Lego objects in this home. It’s pretty cool, and it’s a nice touch to this home. I don’t know if I’ve been sleeping in class, but I don’t remember having seen small String shelves like these ones before. They are really cool and the perfect fit for a desk solution like this one. I think I might have picked a solution like, for my daughter, this had I known.

I’m still a bit crazy about the String system. Even though my husband has asked me not to buy another String shelf for our home – I still enjoy looking at pictures of other people’s String systems. These ones caught my eye this weekend.
It’s no secret that I’m a huge String fan, so imagine how I felt, when I found these 22 different String stylings. The talented Lotta Agaton is String’s set designer – and she also teach set design at Beckmans collage of design in Stockholm. The 22 different String stylings were completed by some of her recent students.
This is heaven for a String-addict like me. It was almost impossible to select a few of them for this post. But don’t worry, you can see the rest right here.
It’s Sunday, it’s raining outside and it’s the last day of our tiny vacation. It’s too bad it’s almost over. But we still have a lot of games to play this afternoon, food to be made and tea to drink. So I’m sure we’ll be okay.
Next week will be more busy than usual. My husband will leave for Sweden (and hopefully bring back this beautiful magazine rack from DesignTorget), and I’ll be working from home for a few days in order to get the kids to school and preschool and back again.
We’re decorating the last wall in our dining room right now, got the Mågestel out of the boxes this weekend, and now we’re trying to decide on the last storage solution (I’m tempted to write ‘again’ here). I’m thinking about adding yet another String system to our home – but I’m still looking for different options.
