Around Christmas, I love to shop around online. Finding cool bits and pieces that you’ll not find at your average store. On top of that, I love to support upcoming shops and shop directly if possible. This year I still need to find a few more presents for our family members, so I’m still on the lookout for that perfect gift. I turned to Etsy to see if I could find something cool and different for the home. Here are some of the things I spotted.
#1 George & Willy wall mounted paper roller
#2 Handcrafted boy or girl desk lamp – these are pretty cool right?
#3 Sliding Barn door closet hardware
#4 Wooden vases for your home
#5 Indoor wood planter – this one I really like
#6 Little wooden design spot “Dodrogo”
#7 Pretty cool letter display
#8 “Danquen” handmade wooden design floor lamp
#9 Black and brown faux leather throw pillow
#10 Cool 3D moon lamp – my kids got one each, and I would love one myself
I’m loving Jennifer Hagler’s styling and collaboration with Ferm Living. Just look at her styling of their S/S ’15 line. Isn’t it lovely? After seeing her styling, I actually love the Collect vases, which I must admit, I hadn’t given much credit beforehand. This is the second part of the styling collaboration that Jennifer has shown on her blog. Check out the rest of part II right here, and if you want more, you can find part I here as well. Now I’ll go and add the vases to my wishlist.
Have a beautiful day <3

The other day the new issue of BoligMagasinet arrived at my doorstep. I couldn’t help but notice the beautiful cover. I re-discovered Ditte Fischer. It’s funny that I had a feeling of re-discovering her fine ceramics. One of my favourite pieces is her sugar and cream set, which I got for Christmas years ago. The color is just perfect, and it’s something I cherish very much.
On the cover is one of her beautiful vases, and I feel an urge to buy a set for our new furniture in the living room. It would look perfect with a set of these three vases.
You can find distributers on Ditte Fischer’s website. I’m gonna look for them here in Aalborg, and if I don’t find them, I’m gonna buy then online. Another great thing to add to my Christmas wish list.
