It’s time for the October edition of Want Wear Need Read. I had planned to post it a few days ago, but I never got around to it.
Want Ever since I bought the croissant necklace from Jukserei for my birthday, I’ve been wanting to add this croissant keychain to my bag. It’s really cool, and I wear the necklace quite often.
Wear Normally, I wear different shades of black (or so my daughter would tease me) so putting a flower blouse on my wear list is a big step for me – some would say in the right direction. But I’m not ready to go all out just yet. With this blouse I can still wear my favourite color if I wear it with a black skirt or trousers.
Need I really need a new batch of Matcha. I drink a matcha iced latte every morning, and for me it’s the perfect way to start the day. Normally, I meditate while the matcha gets cold in my beautiful pink mug. I’m looking for different brands of matcha and would love to try out different ones. I’ve got my eyes set on this matcha kit. Do you drink matcha, and if so where do you buy it online?
Read I’ve been waiting on this new Kinfolk book for quite some time now. I pre-ordered it a few months back, and I just checked up on it, I might have it later this week or the beginning of the next. I’m planning on quite a few hours of reading with a cup of coffee in my hand.

Want – Even though my birthday was last month, I still have a few things left on my wishlist. I recently came across this beautiful snow globe which would be perfect for my office space. I simply love them, and a few years back we always bought a snow globe for our daughter, when we visited a new place. I found some really cute ones – I’m trying to decide between the more winter inspired collection or the zen collection.
Wear – I would love to wear these new pants to yoga – or simply at home after some television yoga.To top it off, I would add the cool grey sweater by Rebecca Minkoff. I’m trying to get back in the routine and would love for my daughter to join me on the mat. Right now I’m looking for a class for both of us.
Need – I really need a new bag. My everyday bag has seen better days. I’m on the lookout for something classic and black. I need a medium size bag for the stuff I carry around on a normal day. I’m trying to cut down on the stuff that I carry around in my bag – but that’s a whole other story. I’ve been looking at Rebecca Minkoff’s Regan Satchel Tote online, but I want to feel and have a look in the store before buying it – just to make sure.
Read – I’ve been wanting to read Milk and Honey all summer. Milk and Honey is a collection of poetry and prose about survival. About the experience of violence, abuse, love, loss, and femininity. Milk and Honey takes readers through a journey of the most bitter moments in life and finds sweetness in them because there is sweetness everywhere if you are just willing to look.
Baby it’s cold and white outside, but I love it. I’m wrapped up in numerous layers of clothes, whenever I leave our home. There is nothing like a big warm knitted cardigan. My kids are having a blast. They can play outside in the snow all day long. Then they return with red cheeks and eyes full of joy, and then it’s time for a hot cup of tea and a board game or a book. It truly is a wonderful time of the year.
I’ve got a blog classic for you today, which I for some reason haven’t tried yet. But there’s a first time for everything. Here’s my take my Want Wear Need Read in January.
Want – This month I can not stop thinking about the new confetti wallpaper from ferm LIVING. It’ll be in stores in a few months time, and I’m so tempted to give this smartwall wallpaper a go.
Wear – Safety first, right?. That’s why I love the Reflective badge “Oreflector”, which shines in the dark. The Oreflector comes in different sizes and different colours – perfect for the whole family. “Wear “Oreflector” without ruining your outfits and without being run over” <3
Need – We still haven’t found what we’re looking for in terms of a lamp for our stairway. I’ve had my eyes on the Grenade lamp, designed by Alvar Aalto, for quite some time, but I’m still not sure it’s the right lamp for that corner.
Read – January means lots and lots of reading, and I’ve found the coolest bookmark for my books. The finely-cut metal bookmark from Octaevo is shaped like a pair of stylish sunglasses – isn’t that cool?
